Dr. Anurag Srivastava heads Consulting Services Business in Wipro Infotech that includes e-Governance, 01Markets & focused advisory and implementation services on Business Continuity & Risk Management, Strategy & process improvements, Technology management and Six Sigma. Prior to this he was the Chief Knowledge and Technology officer for Wipro Infotech. As part of that role he drove the competency development, technology roadmap and innovation for his organization to establish the technology leadership that Wipro Infotech has retained in yester years.

Prior to this he has worked in IBM, Novell, Verifone and an e-start up in various technology & business leadership positions.

He has been  critical in establishing    the core research group in Novell, in India and the core research group in Novell, in India and his group introduced 2 new product lines for Novell Inc, with patents filed from India. As the CTO for Verifone, he was responsible for major reengineering initiative on Internet enabling of their legacy payments solutions.  In IBM he was responsible for design and development of large & complex transaction oriented financial and manufacturing applications.

He completed his PhD in Computer Science in the area of artificial intelligence and pattern recognition. He has several publications in international conferences and journals (IEEE SMC, Pattern Recognition and CC-AI).

His areas of specialization are process & technology optimization, change management, Knowledge deployment and measurement, distributed computing, Internet security, transaction engineering and content delivery services.
